Volunteer

As a volunteer with Bremerhaven's 'Formularlotsen,' I get to support people who need assistance with applications for things like child benefits, citizen’s income, and housing aid. Beyond that, I’m focused on giving our organization a fresh, more visible identity to help us reach even more people. I’m working on a new website and updating our look across platforms, including WhatsApp, so the Formularlotsen are easier to find and recognize in the community.

Internship

During my internship at the "Deutsches Auswandererhaus", I had the opportunity to be involved in organizing a variety of exciting events, including the "Long Night of Culture" and the opening of a new special exhibition. I was also responsible for daily marketing tasks, such as creating press kits, writing promotional content, and developing concepts for implementing future technologies like AR in the museum. This involved exploring the potential impact of such technologies on finances, visitor numbers, and overall guest experience. It was an incredible experience to blend creativity with strategy, helping to shape both the museum's present and future.

My School Time

Web Development

Cerified

I have recently completed my web development program at the Digital Career Institute (DCI), where I gained comprehensive knowledge of the MERN stack to build professional, full-scale web applications. This training served as the foundation for many of my web projects, enabling me to apply my skills in real-world scenarios. Alongside the technical work, I have also developed a solid set of soft skills, particularly in problem-solving, and have advanced my English proficiency to the C1 level.

Graphic Design

Cerified

In 2021, I completed a 4 months long comprehensive training in Graphic Design, including introductory courses in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, through Master Training. This program gave me a strong foundation in graphic design theories and hands-on experience with key tools, particularly Photoshop and InDesign. I also gained valuable insights into Adobe's broader suite of creative tools, expanding my understanding of how they can be used to create cohesive and visually engaging designs.

Business Administration

Bachelor of Arts

From 2015 to 2020, I studied Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and E-Commerce at Hochschule Bremerhaven (University of Applied Sciences). During my studies, I covered core subjects like accounting, controlling, human resource management, and law & taxation. In marketing, I explored more specialized areas such as international and strategic marketing, CRM, e-commerce, and business process modeling.

For my bachelor’s thesis, titled In-Game Advertising in Germany, I conducted a comparative analysis of in-game advertising versus product placements in other media, with a particular focus on legal frameworks relevant at the time. This project gave me valuable insights into advertising trends and regulatory impacts across digital and traditional media.
